BART train outage sparks travel chaos with passengers warned system shutdown may last hours with all lines are suspended

HUNDREDS of thousands of commuters in California have been left outraged after essential public transportation services were abruptly halted Friday morning.

The Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) said a “computer equipment problem” forced them to stop all train services.

BART announced the outage at 5 am and urged Californians to find alternative means to get to work.
