(KRON) — Loved ones are mourning the loss of a San Jose man who was killed Sunday in a head-on collision in Merced County. Tyler Alexander Jackson, 29, is remembered as “a devoted father, a loving partner, and a man whose greatest joy was his family.”
On Sunday night at 11:13 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was alerted to a two-vehicle head-on collision on Highway 59 south of Washington Road. CHP’s preliminary investigation determined that Jackson was driving alone in his car northbound when, for unknown reasons, the driver and sole occupant of a southbound car crossed the broken center line directly into the path of Jackson.
