In another shake-up for Bay Area radio, Connoisseur Media is set to acquire four of San Francisco’s most recognizable stations from Bonneville International Corporation.
The Connecticut-based broadcaster announced Tuesday, Oct. 7, that it has reached an agreement to purchase Bonneville’s San Francisco cluster: KOIT, KBLX, KMVQ (99.7 NOW), and KUFX (98.5 KFOX).
The deal still requires FCC approval and is expected to close later this year. Once finalized, the move will expand Connoisseur’s portfolio to 220 stations in 48 markets nationwide, including KEZR and KBAY in San Jose, and KUIC and KKIQ in the East Bay…
