A go-to bakery for French-style loaves and croissants in the East Bay will be closing soon.
Feel Good Bakery announced that its final day in business will be Oct. 31. In a letter posted at its two Alameda locations and on its website, management did not disclose any specific reasons for closing, but that the choice came after considering the options available for the business. It operated for more than 22 years.
“We’ve had the opportunity and privilege of serving you and the entire Alameda community,” the letter reads. “Your kindness and support throughout the years have meant the world to us and each of you has contributed greatly to our success over the years.” Feel Good Bakery management did not immediately respond to a request for comment…
