Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, the Japanese conveyor belt sushi chain, is planning a new location in Union City at 32170 Dyer St.
The restaurant’s newest location is set to open within the former home of FroZone Gelato and Mountain Mike’s Pizza in the Union Landing shopping center, according to a recently submitted liquor license application. While this proves that an opening could be on the horizon, no specific date has been announced. The Union City location is part of Kura Sushi’s expansion in California, joining four other upcoming sites in the state, including Canoga Park, Orange, San Diego, and Temecula.
Founded in Japan, Kura Sushi has built a reputation for using premium ingredients and adhering to traditional Japanese culinary techniques.
