The Bay Area got one more pulse of rain Sunday night as the latest cold front swept in from the Pacific, keeping this active pattern rolling into Monday morning.
Rain spread in from the North Bay after sunset and gradually worked south overnight. The window for the heaviest, most organized rainfall ran from roughly midnight to 4 a.m.

Showers will linger into the first half of Monday after the main rain band passed. Things won’t fully taper off until midday for most of the region.
Rainfall amounts from the entirety of the quick-moving system look fairly typical. About 1 to 2.5 inches of rain was projected to fall across the North Bay and Santa Cruz Mountains by Monday afternoon. Lower elevations around the Bay Area were expected to generally land between a half-inch and 1.50 inches of rain.
