Almost 100 small earthquakes have been recorded in a concentrated part of California’s Bay Area.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded nearly 90 small earthquakes near San Ramon in the East Bay this month, beginning on November 9. The first recorded earthquake was a 3.8 magnitude earthquake.
The series of quakes that followed were much smaller in nature, with most of them unnoticeable to residents. However, there was one outlier: just before 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, a 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck.
