Bars, CHP prepare for ‘Blackout Wednesday’

(KRON) — Bay Area bars are gearing up for a busy night before Thanksgiving.

It’s often referred to as “Blackout Wednesday,” when many college students come home for the holiday and meet up with their high school friends.

The California Highway Patrol is stepping up enforcement for people driving under the influence, as KRON4’s Sara Stinson reports.
