Pleasanton, CA — Safeway is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest location in Oakley, the first Safeway in town. Located at 998 Laurel Rd., this 55,729-square-foot store will open on December 10 at noon. Shoppers can look forward to a wide range of vibrant, fresh offerings, a variety of choices and a convenient, easy shopping experience.

To celebrate the grand opening, Safeway will host a brief program at the store with Safeway management, Oakley Mayor Shannon Shaw, and invited guests. It will include the presentation of a $10,000 donation from the Safeway Foundation to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony.
