Video: Driver passes CHP officer at more than 100 mph, gets pulled over

(KRON) — An East Bay driver was busted for passing a California Highway Patrol officer at more than 100 mph on Dec. 7, dashcam footage released by CHP shows.

The SUV was heading westbound on Interstate 580 at 7:20 a.m. when the car zoomed past the Dublin CHP officer. The officer caught up to the SUV and pulled the driver over.

“We say it all the time, please slow down,” CHP said. “Don’t put your life and others at risk. Remember that our specially marked patrol vehicles are out on patrol looking for this type of aggressive driving.”…
