The Santa Cruz Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with an October shooting near Beach Flats Park in Santa Cruz.
On Dec. 9, police arrested Jesus Jessie Borrero, 18, and Juanito Pablo Ramirez, 19, in Alameda County, according to a media release from the department. SCPD got assistance from multiple agencies, including the Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team, the Oakland Police Department and the San Leandro Police Department.
Detectives identified the shooter, driver and vehicle through physical evidence obtained at the scene, surveillance video from a nearby business and automated license-plate reader technology, police said…
