Yesterday, an argument in an East Oakland parking lot ended in gunfire when a 40-year-old woman was shot in the lower leg in the 10100 block of International Boulevard, authorities said. She was taken to a hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
According to The Mercury News, the shooting happened at about 2:30 PM after the woman got into an argument with a man in the parking lot. Police said the man she had been arguing with is the suspected shooter, although investigators have not released a detailed description. Detectives are still working to determine what sparked the dispute and whether the two knew each other.

Oakland police are asking anyone who saw what happened, or who captured it on camera, to contact investigators.
