After setting the world record for most expensive digital album purchase this week, one Bay Area musician has decided to pay it forward and invest in his community.
NBA star Kyrie Irving purchased LaRussell’s latest album, “Something’s in the Water,” for $11,001 over the weekend. But instead of pocketing the money, the Vallejo rapper has opted to donate it to his followers.
“Kyrie Irving blessed me earlier this week and I’m paying it forward,” LaRussell posted to Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 8. “I’m helping people with their bills this month! PG&E, Medical Bills, Rent Assistance, Phone Bills, Water, Diapers, Supplies, etc.”…
