On January 17, police officers responded to reports of a red Chevrolet Corvette being stolen. But things quickly escalated from there. The car traveled to the Bay Area as the suspect carried out multiple robberies.
The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Mohamed Husien, has a type. He was involved in the armed carjacking of a green Corvette. Once a license plate reader spotted the car in San Jose, a police chase ensued.
According to Fox News, the chase ended when the vehicle became disabled. But the suspect exchanged gunfire with deputies and stole another vehicle at gunpoint. Then he fled back toward San Jose…
