Gourmet grocery store Draeger’s Market has officially closed its only East Bay location after sluggish foot traffic, allegedly due to property neglect from the landlord, prompted the owner to close.
On Sunday, Draeger’s permanently shuttered its Danville location at Blackhawk Plaza, where it had been an anchor tenant since 2007. Owner John Draeger told SFGATE via email that the difficult decision came after increasing vacancies at the shopping center and overall declining conditions.
