Pet of the Week for January 31, 2026
Let’s talk about Big Poppa! This very handsome boy has been everywhere on tour, from the North Bay to the East, and the Notorious D.O.G. is here and ready to find his perfect home. He spent several years in another shelter, but hasn’t let that stop him from being his best self. To be honest, we’re baffled that he’s still waiting!
Poppa is 6 years old, a great size, and sports a smile that could melt anyone’s heart. He’s the perfect age—well past puppy energy, but always ready for a nice hike when you want one.
Poppa is sweet, a big cuddler, potty trained, and has all the etiquette that a proper dog should. He’ll happily sit back with you for a movie marathon. He has a deep love for fetching toys, and will always bring them to you so that you can play together! He’s ready to be your Number One.
