Downtown San Mateo is about to get a lot greener. Mixt, the Bay Area fast-casual salad chain, is set to open its new restaurant on March 3 and is rolling out a full week of giveaways, fitness tie-ins and neighborhood-focused events to mark the occasion. The San Mateo debut is the brand’s 20th location and lines up neatly with the company’s 20-year anniversary celebration, with promotions and community activations running through March 8.
Where and when
The new spot lands at 301 South B Street in downtown San Mateo. Mixt lists the restaurant as operating daily from 10:30 AM to 9 PM, according to Mixt. On the chain’s site, the San Mateo entry is still tagged “Coming soon,” sitting alongside its other Bay Area locations.
