(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department said an investigation is underway after three men were assaulted by “multiple suspects armed with knives” on Thursday afternoon.

SJPD said officers responded to the 1600 block of Story Road at 4:53 p.m. to investigate a report of a stabbing.
The suspects fled the area before police arrived. The victims were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to SJPD.
It is not clear what led to the incident. Police have not yet provided descriptions of the suspects…
