Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont (34600 Ardenwood Blvd.) has a full lineup of family-friendly programs this March 2026. Kids can meet animals, make crafts, and learn about nature with hands-on activities led by park naturalists. Favorites include Farmyard Storytime, Old-Fashioned Butter Makin’, Bug Hunt, and Wake Up the Farm. Programs run most Saturdays and Sundays, plus Animal Feeding happens at 3pm, Thursday–Sunday.
Mark your calendar for Sheep Shearing Day on Saturday, April 18, 11am–3pm. Watch the sheep get their annual trim, try wool carding, and make a wooly lamb craft.
