Vernon Lee Richard III, age 67, was arrested by Berkeley Police and charged by the Alameda County District Attorney with resisting an executive officer, battery, and making criminal threats. The charges stem from an incident at the Whole Foods Market on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley.
