A 63-year-old San Jose woman died early Friday after a driver struck her on a freeway off-ramp, authorities said.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at 12:29 a.m. Friday, to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian on the northbound Interstate 680 off-ramp to Alum Rock Avenue.
When officers arrived, the woman was being treated by medical personnel at the scene, the agency said. Investigators determined the victim was on foot and had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle and that she had been located within the roadway, CHP said…
