(KRON) — Police officers arrested an employee while he was working at San Francisco International Airport in connection to a hit-and-run crash that occurred in San Mateo. The employee was identified by police as Oscar Gomez Florez, 60, of Foster City.
The crash happened at 12:48 p.m. Sunday on Monte Diablo Avenue near North San Mateo Drive. A vehicle struck a victim who was riding an electric scooter without a helmet, police said.
A San Mateo Police Department spokesperson wrote, “The victim suffered a 4-inch laceration to his head. The driver of the vehicle did not stop after the collision and left the scene.”…
