Mom was slain in Sunnyvale by ‘illegal aliens’ protected from ICE, DHS says

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (KRON) — The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is blasting Santa Clara County’s sanctuary policies after a young mother was allegedly slain by two “illegal aliens” in Sunnyvale.

Leading up to the homicide, one of the accused killers was wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, but he was back on the streets because he was released from a county jail, according to DHS officials.

“This insanity of refusing to turn cold-blooded killers over to ICE must end,” DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said Monday…
