OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — The Alameda County District Attorney held a news conference Thursday with a message for alleged victims of Eric Swalwell. Earlier this April, the embattled politician resigned from Congress and dropped out of the California governor’s race over a sexual assault scandal.
Speaking to reporters at the Oakland courthouse, District Attorney Ursula Jones Dickson said, “This message is for victims of sexual assault, specifically at the hands of Rep. Swalwell. We are here. We’ve been here.”
