Neighbors demand change after DUI crash that left 2 hurt in San Jose

In San Jose, a DUI crash has left two people hurt, one arrested on suspicion of DUI, and a neighborhood demanding change.

Police said the crash happened in the 2300 block of Carlton Avenue. Tyler Sutton, a neighbor, heard the crash at around 7:30 p.m. and ran outside to help.

Neighbors say the driver first hit a parked car, then struck the two people walking with their dog. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
