When BTS rolls into Stanford Stadium for three concerts this week, there’ll be a tricked-out welcome wagon to greet them.
For eight hours each concert day, Saturday-Sunday, May 16-17 and Tuesday, May 19, an LED billboard truck funded entirely by fan group Bay Area BTSxARMY, aka BABA, will cruise El Camino Real and Galvez Street near the venue with a rolling welcome message to the South Korean boy band.
BABA crowdsourced more than $7,500 for the four-wheeled tribute emblazoned with images of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook and messages reading “Welcome Back to the Bay BTS” and “We Can Spend a Lifetime Watching You.”…
