MENLO PARK, Calif. (KRON) — Juveniles led Menlo Park police officers on a car chase after police tried to stop them on suspicion of driving a stolen car.
Police tried to conduct a felony stop on the car. Police said the juvenile occupants of the car sped off and a car chase was initiated. Video of the chase shows a dark colored sedan speeding down a winding road while sirens blare in the background.
Officers deployed StarChase, a GPS tracking device used by law enforcement, and successfully tracked the occupants to Berkeley, where they were arrested. The driver was charged with reckless evasion.
