CORCORAN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Corcoran man was arrested Saturday evening after being found with a stolen gun from Fresno, the Corcoran Police Department announced.
Police say just after 11 p.m., officers with the Violent Crimes Suppression Unit made an enforcement stop on a vehicle in the 2400 block of Whitley Avenue.
Officers reported an investigation led to a vehicle search where they found a loaded .40 Cal pistol underneath the driver’s seat. The firearm was found to have been reported stolen out of Fresno.
Corcoran Police report the driver, identified as 22-year-old Jose Garcia, was arrested and booked on several firearms-related charges, including carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm…
