FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – American Legion Post 509 is hosting its 11th annual car show to benefit veterans this September.
The show will feature classic cars and motorcycles, live music, an array of vendors, and veterans, each with a story to tell.
According to American Legion 509, it’s their largest fundraiser of the year, and it’s all to support their veteran programs.
Some of those programs include:
- PTSD meetings
- Arts and crafts projects
- Holiday parties for children/grandchildren of Veterans
- Dental and vision clinics
- Legal assistance
- Food Pantry
- Annual Baby Shower
- An Honor Guard to provide final military honors at funerals
Cars and motorcycles can enter in advance for $25, or $30 the morning of the show…
