Fresno suspect arrested using license plate reader

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Police Department was able to arrest a 41-year-old man on domestic violence charges after officers say they got an automated license plate reader (ALPR) hit on Sunday.

Police say on June 20 around p.m., officers responded to a confidential location regarding a report of a possible domestic disturbance.

Officers said they found a victim and her husband, 41-year-old James Austin Paul Reyes, got into an argument that turned physical.

Investigators say Reyes pushed the victim against the wall after he was confronted about going through the victim’s property without consent…
