Business owners planning to paint or build commercial buildings in Madera will now be required to choose from a city-approved color palette under newly adopted exterior color standards approved by the City Council.
The new standards apply to new construction, building additions and reconstruction following a natural disaster. The rules also cover repainting of existing buildings within the city’s commercial zone districts.
