FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fight involving as many as eight people at a north Fresno shopping center over the weekend eventually led to the arrest of a 30-year-old man, according to Fresno Police.
Officers say they were alerted Saturday evening to the fight in a parking lot on the southeast corner of Friant Road and Audubon Drive at the Park Crossing Shopping Center. Witnesses described between six and eight people physically fighting in the parking lot. A vehicle then drove away from the scene, and officers were given a description of that vehicle.
Police say they tracked the vehicle down and stopped it, finding 30-year-old Gabriel Guzman-Rodriguez in the driver’s seat. Officers say Guzman-Rodriguez was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Officers add that the 30-year-old driver also had two minor children in the vehicle with him at the time, resulting in a further arrest on suspicion of child endangerment…
