CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A newly expanded and improved trail is being named after a Clovis firefighter, the City of Clovis announced on Monday.
The Letterman Trail is a half-mile trail that runs between Barstow and Villa Avenues through Letterman Park and along the Big Dry Creek Canal.
It is named after Clinton J. Letterman, who was a Clovis volunteer firefighter in the 1960s. He died in 1969 at the age of 44 after suffering a heart attack during a house fire. The new trail is named after him, along with the existing park…
