Caltrans: There will be scheduled lane closures in Selma

FRESNO, Calif. ( KGPE/KSEE ) – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced on Thursday that there will be scheduled shoulder and lane closures for a sweeping operation in Selma on Saturday, Jan. 27.

The following is said to occur in the city of Selma:

  • The left-hand shoulder and #1 lane on southbound State Route 99 will be closed.
  • The moving closure will begin adjacent to the southbound State Route 99 onramp at 2nd Street.
  • Moving closure will happen on Jan 27. between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • Drivers are advised to use extreme caution when in the vicinity of the moving closure or to use alternate routes during that time.

Caltrans says closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
