2 men dead after early morning crash, Fresno PD reports

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Two men are dead after their vehicles collided early Sunday morning, the Fresno Police Department announced.

Police say around 2 a.m. a 40-year-old man in a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Clinton Avenue at Marks Avenue.

The truck then collided with a car that was traveling southbound on Marks Avenue at Clinton Avenue, according to investigators.

As a result, officials say the driver of the pickup died along with the driver of the car, a man in his 60s. The passenger of the truck remained on-scene.

Detectives say it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in this crash.

This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
