PD: Man found DUI after hit-and-run in Madera

MADERA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) -A man was found to be driving under the influence over two times the legal limit after a solo-vehicle hit and run in Madera, the City of Madera Police Department said.

Officers say they responded to the area of Calimyrna and Cleveland Avenues regarding a hit-and-run traffic collision.

According to police, the vehicle collided with many objects including that of someone’s home before fleeing a short distance away. The driver, identified as David Perez, was located by officers, and he was found to be DUI, over two times the legal limit.

The Madera Police Department says nobody reported injuries during the incident.
