This Fresno railroad crossing to be closed for 4 days

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A railroad crossing in Northwest Fresno between two intersections will be closed for several days beginning Monday, the City of Fresno officials said on Friday.

According to officials, on Feb. 5 at 9 a.m., BNSF Railroad will close the West Avenue crossing between Shaw and Ashlan Avenues for improvements.

Officials say this is a hard closure and drivers should utilize an alternative route. Additionally, they say the closure is expected to last four days pending any unforeseen delays.
