HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A 33-year-old man from Hanford was arrested in January on suspicion of possessing obscene matter of a minor in a sexual act, according to the Hanford Police Department.
The Hanford Police Department also confirmed that the suspect, 33-year-old Alejandro Sanabria, was an employee at Kings County’s Child Welfare Services.
Officers say on Jan. 31, detectives executed a search warrant on a home in the 1500 block of Sprincrest Street for evidence related to the possession of obscene matter of a minor in a sexual act.
According to police, the action was in response to a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Police say Sanabria was arrested as part of the investigation and was booked into the Kings County Jail with a bail set at $20,000.
