SANGER, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A fundraiser is being held in support of an all-women’s training center in Sanger after their building caught on fire.
Peaches & Queens gym catches fire in Sanger
Officials with the Peaches and Queens Training Center say they found a permanent home at 728 N Street, and the building will be available in roughly two to three weeks. In the meantime, they say they will continue classes with what they have.
The all-women’s gym is temporarily holding classes at Sanger Elite, located at 1713 Academy Avenue.
However, because of the lost equipment during the fire, officials say they will be hosting a fundraiser at the House of Pendragon Brewing Co. on March 2 at 5 p.m. All proceeds will go towards rebuilding the gym.
In a social media post , Vanessa Silva, the owner of the all-women’s circuit training gym, encourages anyone who might want to donate something to the raffle to reach out to her.
The House of Pendragon Brewing Co. is located at 1849 Industrial Way #103 in Sanger.
