33-year-old California man, his partner and boat captain disappeared near Tahiti on July 7, 2002

In the annals of unsolved mysteries, few stories are as intriguing and heart-wrenching as the disappearance of Bison Dele, his girlfriend Serena Karlan, and their boat captain Bertrand Saldo. This trio vanished without a trace in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, leaving behind a trail of questions and a mystery that remains unsolved to this day.

Born Brian Carson Williams on April 6, 1969, in Fresno, California, Bison Dele was a man of many talents and interests. The son of Patricia Phillip and Eugene Williams, he grew up in a family that valued creativity and athleticism. His father, a member of the famous vocal group The Platters, instilled in him a love for music and performance.

From a young age, Dele excelled in sports, particularly track and field. However, it was basketball that would eventually capture his heart and lead him to a successful career in the NBA. After playing high school basketball at Saint Monica Catholic and Bishop Gorman High School, Dele moved on to the University of Maryland and later the University of Arizona, where he honed his skills on the court.
