Clovis Unified reaches unanimous decision for school boundaries

CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A decision has been reached Wednesday evening to decide where the new Clovis Unified School boundaries will be.

The Clovis Unified School District Board has unanimously adopted the recommended attendance area map that will go into effect in August of 2025. The unanimous vote came with the exception of Board Member Hugh Awtrey who was out sick.

New Clovis Unified boundaries could affect your child’s school

Clovis Unified had expressed that the new boundaries are intended to increase school attendance throughout the district.

And while some residents had previously expressed their concerns about the proposed boundaries, school officials say no one was present to speak to the board in favor or opposition of the recommendation.
