42 drivers cited during safety enforcement operation in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Fresno Police Department cited 42 drivers in Fresno over the weekend for a variety of violations during a Motorcycle Safety Enforcement operation.

Police say during the operation on May 4 from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., seven people were cited for speeding, and four for driving under the influence (DUI). Four were unlicensed or operating vehicles with a suspended license and 31 drivers were cited for other mechanical and moving violations.

The Fresno Police Department will hold another motorcycle safety enforcement operation in August.
