Woman collides with multiple cars near high school in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A woman was arrested after colliding with vehicles including a bus near Edison High School Sunday afternoon, the Fresno Police Department announced.

Police say a woman driving a Chevy pickup was traveling on Walnut Avenue, south of Cesar Chavez Boulevard when she struck a parked FAX bus with four passengers on board.

Officers say she continued on Walnut Avenue, hitting two more parked vehicles and one that was moving. Property damage was also reported.

Investigators say the suspect vehicle was stopped and the driver, 34-year-old Victoria Garcia of Fresno, was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence and charges of hit and run.

Police say no injuries were reported other than complaints of pain from two people in the bus.
