HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Two 20-year-olds were arrested after investigators determined they were part of a group armed with paintballs and a metal club that attacked and stole from two victims in Hanford, police said.
According to the Hanford Police Department, 22-year-old Stephen Salinas and 20-year-old Acacia Serna were arrested for conspiring and actively participating in two Saturday robberies.
Police say the first robbery occurred near 1400 N. Brown St. The victim told officers he was lured to the location with a phone app before being approached by a group of people who shot him with a paintball gun and hit him in the legs with a metal club.
Officers say the suspects also stole cash from the man and forced him to send money through a phone app before stealing his cell phone.

Just hours later, a second robbery was reported near 300 E. Malone St. The victim told officers they were also confronted by a group armed with paintballs and a metal club.
