Trash can fires suspect wanted in Fresno, firefighters say

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – An arson suspect is wanted in Fresno after allegedly lighting up several trash cans, the Fresno Fire Department said.

Fire officials are asking for the community’s help in identifying a man suspected of committing arson. They say between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, several city-owned trash cans were set on fire in the Downtown area.

According to firefighters, video surveillance footage at one location captured the person depicted below setting a fire before walking away.
