Restoration of this beloved Fresno building is complete

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The historic Hotel Fresno in the city’s Downtown is complete following its five-year restoration project.

Fresno City Councilmember Miguel Arias announced on Wednesday that the project is now providing “much-needed adorable housing in the heart of Downtown Fresno.”

Hotel Fresno finally has residents – and there are more to come

Arias says the project’s completion makes a new chapter for the historic building.

Speaking to YourCentralValley.com in May , Arias said people of all walks of life live among each other inside Hotel Fresno.

“We’re intentionally bringing mixed-income, mixed cultures, mixed neighborhoods, into one facility, that’s historic.”

A celebration to mark the end of the Hotel Fresno project is being held on Thursday. Hotel Fresno is located at the 1241 Broadway Plaza.
