CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – For the fourth year in a row, a haunted trail is set to make its way to Clovis and thrill those who love Halloween and “all scary things” during the last week of October.
Organizers describe the attraction as a scary, haunted outdoor 2000-foot walking experience for those who love scary things. Participants can expect to hear eerie music, see foggy trees and spooky lighting, as well as live zombies, creepy clowns, ghosts, and skeletons climbing about.
Headstones, a pumpkin patch, hay bales, and creepy dolls will also be displayed on the trail.
According to organizers, the one-way trail will be located behind the Parkway Trails Shopping Center on the northeast corner of Willow and Nees avenue in Clovis. The trail will feature 17 scare zones, a haunted maze, photo opportunities and candy.
Organizers add that the Kids Hour is back to the trail as well. From 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Oct. 26 and Oct 27, younger children can experience scare zones without being scared by an actor. Some friendly actors will be handing out candy, and organizers say this would be a great time because it is naturally lighter outside.
