Man stabbed in head in Orosi, deputies looking for suspect

OROSI, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Deputies are searching for the man they say stabbed another man and fled the scene, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office says.

Around midnight Sunday, deputies were sent to the 11100 block of Avenue 424 for a report of an assault.

Once there they discovered that two men arrived together at a home in the area and then began fighting.  Investigators say one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the head and the torso.

The victim is said to be in critical, but stable, condition at a local hospital.

Deputies say the suspect fled the area before they arrived, and law enforcement continues to look for him.

Anyone with information on this case, or who may know the suspect’s whereabouts, is asked to contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 559-733-6218.
