Vehicle crashes with Fresno dinosaur

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – CHP Fresno is reminding drivers to drive safely after a car collided with a dinosaur early morning on Monday.

CHP says they responded to a crash at a Sinclair Gas Station on Shaw and Maroa avenues in the early morning hours.

Investigators determined the collision was caused due to speeding at a sharp turn.

A photo provided by the agency reveals major front-end damage to a white vehicle with moderate damage to a nearby sign and minor damage to a dinosaur.

Officers advise even in the early morning hours when traffic is light it is important to maintain good driving habits.

CHP says seatbelts were worn and only minor injuries were reported.
