$700K grant for food vendors to be voted on by Fresno City Council

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The City of Fresno will decide on Halloween whether or not to approve a $700,000 grant to help mobile food vendors.

City officials say the Fresno City Council will hold a meeting on Thursday to vote on a proposed $700,000 grant agreement with Cultiva la Salud.

The grant will fund the development of a commercial community kitchen to support the needs of Fresno’s mobile food vendors.

Officials add the hub will serve as a vital resource to the community with a fully equipped kitchen, support offices, and conference spaces.
